WMA bonding bill in the Legislature

This is a Legislation Alert. There is a huge WMA bonding bill in the Legislature that we are apart of. It is where the funding will come from for the multi use recreational areas. The following was sent to me by the lobbyist for the Nature Conservancy, please read and take action.

Hey Guys

Your incredible show of support for WMA acquisition is getting the attention of the Legislature, and causing some organizations who oppose state land conservation to begin lobbying against WMA bonding

The going gets tough from here on out.

1. Time to show our support for WMA acquisition to Speaker Sviggum

2. Bolster Chairman Ozment's (House Environment Finance) support for the Governor's unprecedented recommendation;

and most importantly

3. Thank House Majority Leader Paulsen for support.

As soon as possible, please send a letter to Speaker Sviggum stating your organization's ( dog club ) support for WMA acquisition, and copy Rep. Paulsen and Rep. Ozment.

Please do not call their offices
